University of Nevada, Reno extends admissions deadline to July 1
RENO, Nev. (News 4-Fox 11) — The University of Nevada, Reno announced that they have extended its admissions deadline to July 1.
“Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are moving the deadline to apply to the University to July 1," said Steve Maple, the Director of Admissions at UNR. "To take advantage of advanced registration, a student should apply as soon as possible to get next year's classes now.”
At this time, the Nevada System of Higher Education is planning to resume in-person classes for the 2020 fall semester.
They are working on implementing social distancing guidelines before school resumes.
