Severe weather in mid-Michigan causes power outages

FLINT, Mich. - Severe storms throughout Michigan has caused power outages in communities throughout the state. 

DTE says they have 21,037 customers without power.

The company says there are 201 crews in the field currently.

DTE is asking people to report and find outages in their area on their website.

Consumers Energy is reporting 120,781 customers who are without power.

They have 272 crews in the field right now working to restore power.
