Florida Forestry Services is responding to large wildfire in Collier County.
COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. — UPDATE: The Florida Forest Service crews are currently working three fires in the Golden Gate Estates area totaling around 400 acres. Units from all local emergency response agencies are assisting.
The road closure area has expanded to include all of Everglades Boulevard South from 40th Avenue Southeast to Golden Gate Boulevard East.

If you have proof of residence for one of the affected streets, deputies are letting some drivers through to tend to pets, livestock and other family members who might be in the area. Deputies are stationed at Everglades Boulevard South and Golden Gate Boulevard East.
There are two now unrelated brush fires in the same area along 20th Avenue Southeast and 22nd Avenue Southeast where some evacuations are also taking place.
There is heavy smoke in the area, motorists will be able to see from along Interstate 75.
The wildfire is located at 36th Avenue Southeast in Golden Gate Estates.

Deputies have evacuated homes along three residential streets in Golden Gate Estates as crews battle a brush fire in the area.
Homes along 34th Avenue Southeast, 36th Avenue Southeast and 38th Avenue Southeast have been evacuated for a brush fire at 36th Avenue SE and Everglades Boulevard South.

The wildfire is located at 36th Avenue Southeast in Golden Gate Estates.
