Mothers are the most important part of everyone’s life. She is the first friend,
teacher, and play every role that requires to nurture a child. Mother’s love is also unconditional as she is the only person who never demands anything from her children in return. They are epitome of love,
affection and sacrifice. They are irreplaceable for the immense love and care they possess.
For this unconditional love and affection of a mother towards her child, Mother’s Day across the world is celebrated on the second Sunday of May. This year the Mother’s Day 2020 will be celebrated on May 10.

Mom: Released in 2017, this Sri Devi-starrer revolves around a lady whose daughter was brutally raped by 4 men. Despite knowing the strange behavior of her daughter towards her, she searches her rapist and murders them mysteriously. This movie is a struggling journey of a mother to give justice to her daughter.
English Vinglish: The film depicted the struggle of a mother to adjust with the teens and their updated thoughts. Starring Sri Devi in the lead, English Vinglish was one of the biggest hits of the year. A mother who struggles to make her children realize her worth has been the theme of the movie.
Secret Superstar: Zaira Wasim-starrer, lets a mother go against the whims and fancies of her husband to support her teenage daughter. She goes to every extreme in order to help her daughter, pursue her passion while the father is abusive. In fact, she abandons her husband for the sake of her daughter's dream
Paa: In this film, a son is battling with death and Vidya Balan being the single mother portrays a strong role to save him till the last breath. Auro, who is suffering from a genetic disorder hasn't left with much time to survive yet Vidya Balan does every bit to fulfill her son's last wish.
Mother India: Starring Nargis, Sunil Dutt and Raaj Kumar, this movie is a story of a single mother who struggles to raise her son. Directed by Mehboob Khan, this movie completes the real incident and stories that a mother faces throughout her life.
Badla: Starring Amrita Singh, Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu in the lead is based on the revenge story of a mother to track the murder of her son. The movie is definitely worth watching and showcases how a mother can turn to a warrior.
