Jameis Winston signing with Saints after being replaced by Tom Brady"UNV"

The former Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback and the New Orleans Saints are finalizing a one-year deal, according to multiple reports.
Winston, the first overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft, will likely complete against quarterback Taysom Hill as the backup to Drew Brees. Having Winston as a traditional backup would also allow the Saints to use Hill more freely as a gadget player.
Hill, meanwhile, signed a two-year deal worth $21 million with the Saints Sunday, including $16 million guaranteed at signing, according to ESPN.
Winston, 26, spent five seasons in Tampa Bay, making history in 2019 with the NFL’s first-ever 30-touchdown, 30-interception campaign. He will now face his former team twice a year, with new Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady under center after 20 years and six Super Bowls with the New England Patriots.
Brady, 42, joined the Buccaneers in March, signing a two-year deal, $50 million deal in free agency. Tampa Bay also acquired his former Patriots teammate, Rob Gronkowski, in a trade with New England last week.
Winston isn’t the only quarterback the Saints added to their roster this weekend. On Saturday, they selected Mississippi State’s Tommy Stevens in the seventh round of the 2020 NFL Draft.
New Orleans lost quarterback Teddy Bridgewater in free agency. He agreed to a three-year, $63 million deal with the division rival Carolina Panthers.
